Pima Community College has partnered with the Southern Arizona Chapter of Enrolled Agents to offer an Enrolled Agent Certificate program. The 16 semester hour program may be completed by itself or in conjunction with the Associate Degree in Accounting.
The certificate program may be completed in two semesters, preparing students to take the Special Enrollment Examination to become Enrolled Agents. In addition to teaching tax preparation principles, the program offers hands-on experience preparing tax returns with VITA (Volunteers in Tax Assistance).
