This class will cover a range of tax issues for family business including: Ownership structures from sole props to QHWJW, LLCs and S-corps; Active and passive income and self-employment taxes; Tax breaks for hiring family; Recordkeeping; Transferring ownership; and New Sec 199A passthrough effects for family businesses.|

||TCJA and Form 1040 + Due Diligence||Lin Leclair, EA||4||This class will cover how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) will affect all parts of Form 1040. In addition, Lin will cover 2018 due diligence requirements on tax practitioners, including the new requirements for the Head of Household filing status.|

Employees of members pay the member rate. You must include member’s name on the registration form.
Your payment reserves your place in the class.
Full refund if cancellation made 5 calendar days prior to class. In lieu of refund, you may elect to have the tuition apply to another class that is being given at a later date. In the event your tuition is forfeited, you will be provided any class materials that are handed out.
The SACEA Board of Directors reserves the right to cancel a seminar for insufficient registrations.
SACEA through the Arizona Society of Enrolled Agents has entered into an agreement with the IRS to meet the requirements of 31 Code of Fed. Regs, Sec 10.6(g)., covering maintenance of attendance records, retention of program outlines, qualifications of instructors and length of class hours. This agreement does not constitute an endorsement by the OPR as to the quality of the program or its contribution to the professional competence of the enrolled agents.
